Overview

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, with the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering the development of each child in our care.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide high-quality care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Support children in their daily routines, including feeding, dressing, and hygiene practices. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment that is conducive to learning and play. Observe and document children's progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to senior staff. Collaborate with other team members to create an inclusive atmosphere that meets the diverse needs of all children.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous. Strong management and leadership skills to guide children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive may be beneficial for transporting children or materials as needed. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
