Nursery Assistant / Float Staff
Job Description
To look after the children and help provide a safe stimulating environment, to help each child reach their potential with challenging ideas. To help keep the nursery clean and tidy, and follow up with good hygiene practises. To participate in training and courses where needed, to work in a small friendly team.
To ensure the care and safety of children during periods of staff shortages and busy periods.
The nursery is open 7am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. Your Hours will be between these hours, unless told otherwise for staff meetings after hours.
On the occasions you are asked to work till 6pm, if all cleaning jobs are completed and children have gone early, we can leave before 6pm.
Qualifications
-NVQ Level 3 in Early Childhood Education
- NVQ Level 2 in Early Childhood Education
- Proven experience in childcare and nursery settings
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 13.30 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 57.5 per week
