We have an exciting opportunity for someone

to join our dynamic, dedicated, professional and ever growing team here at Blackdown.

A Level 3 in child care is essential for this position.

Only those with the highest standards and commitment to working in a nursery environment need apply.

The successful candidate will be joining a highly motivated and friendly team they will benefit from the knowledge, guidance, training & support of the Proprietor, Manager and other staff members

in return for your professionalism and loyalty.

This role will be working in our Baby Room (3mths-24mths) to cover Maternity leave and then moving to our Toddler room.

Will be 4 to 5 days a week, between Monday & Friday 8am to 6pm (one hour lunch Break)

We are open all year round except for Bank Holidays & a weeks break at Christmas.

Purpose of the job

To provide the highest level of care for children attending the nursery

To ensure the needs of each child are identified and met

To provide positive working relations with children, staff and parents

To assist with the planning and delivery of the EYFS,

To take charge of a key group of children

To help set up & put away activities

To help with the daily cleaning routine

To liaise with other staff and parents

The successful candidate must

Have the ability to produce and keep records

Experience & Qualifications required

MUST BE AT LEAST EQUIVILENT OF NVQ LEVEL 3 IN CHILDCARE

Will be required to undertake a DBS check

Desirable and Advantageous. But not Essential

Have previous experience in a children's nursey with Babies & Toddlers

Paediatric first aid certificate

Food hygiene

Knowledge of the use of Tapestry

Full onsite training will be provided
