We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing daily activities and ensuring that each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive.
Duties
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's development across all areas.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and contribute to the overall development of the setting.
Experience
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children and parents successfully.
A passion for childcare and a commitment to providing the highest standards of care and education.
