Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team at The Old School House Day Care Nursery. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the development and well-being of young children in our care. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to providing exceptional childcare and educational experiences.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities for children.
Support children's learning and development through play and educational exercises.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure high standards of care.
Help manage daily routines, including meal times and nap times.
Requirements
Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles is desirable.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
A passion for nurturing children's development and well-being.
Childcare level 2 / 3 is highly desirable but not essential as we can enrol you on this.
