We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. This position requires effective communication skills in English, the ability to manage daily activities, and a commitment to fostering the development of children in our care.
Duties
Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote early childhood development.
Support the daily routines of the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions among children.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, including toys and learning materials.
Observe and document children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as necessary.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of care and education are met.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
A background in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine love for working with young children and an understanding of their developmental needs.
