Early Years Assistant

Nursery Assistant - 42.5 hours per week




Monday - Friday, All year round - Salary up to 26,984.10 per annum depending on qualfiications and expeirence.




Our Nursery is just a short walk from West Byfleet train station, making it easily accessible for families. With 98 spaces across five classrooms catering to different age groups, our extensive facilities offer children the chance to explore, learn, and grow.

As Nursery Assistant, you will:




Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent Observe and support children's development, update the EyLog system and children's learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
