Nursery Assistant - Unqualified

41.25 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Salary 10.00 - 12.21 per hr depending on qualifications and experience

Established in 1997, Woodberry Fawley is a purpose-built nursery set in a stunning location on the edge of the New Forest. With a spacious, nature-rich environment, we provide endless opportunities for discovery, learning, and play.Our setting is designed to support children at every stage of their early years journey, with dedicated spaces for different age groups. We also offer a specially designed sensory room, creating a calming and engaging environment for exploration and development. The nursery boasts a large outdoor area that wraps around the building, allowing children to enjoy fresh air, movement, and adventure every day. The nursery has excellent commuter links, with bus stops just a short walk away. Additionally, a large car park provides ample parking for staff.

As Nursery Assistant, you will:

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent Observe and support children's development, update the EyLog system and children's learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
