We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant/Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Duties
Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-12 years.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's needs and progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery environment.
Support children in developing their independence and self-care skills.
Experience
Proven experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
