We're now looking for a Centre Director to lead our Balham nursery, ensuring outstanding standards, compliance, and growth.

The Role

As Centre Director, you will:

Lead, mentor and inspire a team of early years professionals. Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards. Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead. Manage nursery operations, including staffing, ratios and rotas. Drive occupancy, parent satisfaction, and financial performance. Build trusted relationships with families, staff, and external partners.

About You

Essential:

Minimum 3 years' experience managing an early years setting. Proven success in leading a nursery rated Good or Outstanding. Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, child protection and health & safety. Leadership skills with experience in team development and performance management. Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years. Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training.

Desirable:

Experience in budget management and staff deployment. Coaching/mentoring experience. Degree in Early Childhood Studies, EYTT or QTS.
