Responsibilities

Manage kitchen to ensure efficient food production and service. Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Oversee food safety procedures, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients. Develop new menu items in collaboration with management and stake holders to keep offerings innovative and appealing. Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in hospitality or childcare environments is highly desirable. Skilled in food preparation, presentation, and serving techniques. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff.
