We are recruiting for

Nursery Chef

for our large children's nursery!

We are looking for an experienced and efficient

Nursery Chef

in our nursery setting in Hendon. We are looking for a

Nursery Chef

to liaise with the Nursery Manager in developing recipes for our menus prepared by a nutritionist and providing delicious healthy meals from babies to children aged 5 years.

Duties include:

- Preparing and cooking fresh meals for all children and staff

- Managing the children dietary preferences and allergies

- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and equipment

- Stock ordering and rotation

- Ensure meals are served on time as per nursery menu

- To order food online on a weekly basis

- Keep up to date with new legislation and guidelines

- Participate in team meetings

The ideal candidate:

- MUST have an Level 2 in Food Hygiene or higher

- Knowledge of 'Safer Food Better Business'

- A team player who uses their own initiative

- Great knowledge of food, allergens and dietary needs

- Punctual and reliable

- Someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about healthy eating

- Someone who can deliver food at a high standard for the children

- An excellent role model to the staff, parents and children at all times

Candidates must hold at least Level 2 in Food Hygiene (or higher)

Role:

This role is a Full-time role of 40 hours a week from Monday-Friday.
