Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

About the Role

Prepare and cook meals for around 60 children using fresh ingredients Ensure all dietary requirements and allergies are catered for. Preparing and placing food orders weekly and to budget. Work with the Head and Director to plan and implement a range of delicious menus and weaning plans. Prepare food for exciting key Nursery events. Lead annual food hygiene inspections, maintaining 5 stars. Keep detailed records of food temperatures, fridge and freezer temperatures, cleaning records etc.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

Is confident and happy to work solo and independently (this is a stand alone role in a compact kitchen). Has a passion for cooking and enjoys interaction with children. Has a high level of attention to detail, especially when catering for allergies Is proactive, positive and happy to work on your own initiative.
