We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic Chef to join our friendly team at The Stables Nursery School.

About the Role:

As a Nursery Chef you will be involved in preparing and cooking healthy nutritious meals for children 0-5 years of age.

The successful candidate will need to have good knowledge of allergy management and working in a safe kitchen environment alongside the Safer Food and Better Business.

Qualities:

Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills.

Good time management, with the ability to work to deadlines.

Ability to remain calm, positive and enthusiastic when working under pressure.

Passionate about healthy eating.

Key Skills and Attributes:

Recognised Level 2 / Level 3 qualification in food management/catering.

Knowledge of allergy management.

An understanding of child development stages.

Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).

Please Note:

Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check and ensure this is kept up to date.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK

Working Hours

:
Hours are 7 hours per week Monday to Friday. Your contracted hours of work would be 8.30am till 3.30pm.
