The Role

We're looking for a passionate

Chef

to join our Bobblewood team at St. George's Nursery. You'll play a key role in creating nutritious, balanced meals that support children's health, development, and wellbeing. This is more than just a kitchen role - it's about making a positive impact on young lives through healthy eating.

What You'll Do

Prepare and cook healthy, child-friendly meals in line with dietary requirements. Plan and adapt menus to meet the nutritional needs of young children. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen that meets food hygiene standards. Manage stock levels, order ingredients, and keep accurate records. Work closely with nursery staff to support children with allergies or special diets. Lead and support kitchen assistants where needed.

What We're Looking For

Experience as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role (experience in childcare, education, or healthcare settings is a bonus). Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (Food Hygiene Certificate required). A passion for preparing fresh, nutritious meals. Excellent organisation and time management skills. A team player with good communication skills.
