Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes served. Prepare and cook a variety of meals, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, enhancing their culinary skills and knowledge. Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while managing food costs effectively. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the restaurant industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for hospitality. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Creative flair for menu development with an understanding of current culinary trends.
