We are looking for someone who is passionate and skilled at cooking as well as being passionate about children and their welfare! As a new business we are growing fast and need someone excited for a new challenge to join our team!

You will be working 40 hours per week in our catering style kitchen cooking for our beautiful little people. We offer a wide range of dishes to our children with your opinion and passions being taken into account along the way.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be required:

To follow the required menus of the company (however we welcome your touch into the nursery) To communicate any relevant information required to follow the food and drink policy and health and safety procedures with all members of staff To use the administration process appropriately to enable policies and procedures to be followed accurately To ensure the legal aspects of health and safety are followed in line with company's policies and procedures To undertake any relevant training, and when required, to train other members of the catering team To work within your given budget to ensure all children are catered for To follow the nursery policy in relation to all dietary requirements

Qualifications and Skills

You should:

Be able to cater for up to 76 children with ease and confidence Have a genuine passion for children and cooking Strong and confident understanding towards allergens A catering qualification would be fantastic but not necessary. You will need a Food Hygiene Certificate and experience in working in a kitchen.
