We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create menus and provide healthy meals for children up to the age of 4. Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of food quality.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Coordinate food production activities to meet service deadlines efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely.
Collaborate with management and room staff to keep up to date with children's food allergies, cultural and family preferences.
Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members.
Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality is highly desirable.
