Summary



We are seeking a passionate Chef to join our team at St. George's Nursery . In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals that support the health and development of our children. Your culinary skills will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience that aligns with our commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for children in accordance with dietary guidelines. Manage kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards. Collaborate with staff to create menus that cater to the nutritional needs of young children. Supervise kitchen assistants and provide training on food preparation techniques. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order ingredients as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably in childcare or hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare nutritious meals for young children. Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
