Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced, warm and enthusiastic Chef to join our lovely team and provide delicious, home cooked meals for our children.
Main duties
:Running the kitchen and preparing daily wholesome, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0-5. Catering for a range of dietary needs, allergens and food preferences. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Creating exciting and varied seasonal menus. Managing food stock, ordering supplies and minimising waste. Keeping accurate records in line with food safety regulations and nursery policies.
What we are looking for
:- Previous experience cooking in a professional kitchen or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures (Food Hygiene Level 2 or above - training can be provided if required).
- Understanding of dietary requirements and allergens.
- An organised, efficient and confident individual who can work independently.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week
