Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that promote early childhood development and learning.
Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe, organised, and inclusive environment.
Provide individualised support to children, recognising their unique needs and abilities.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and behaviour.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, development milestones, and behavioural observations.
Lead by example in demonstrating management and leadership skills to support team collaboration.
Organise daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods.
Supervise children during outings or trips, ensuring safety at all times.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching methods through professional development.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in childcare, nursery, or early childhood education settings.
Strong management and leadership skills to oversee classroom activities effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Childcare qualifications or relevant early childhood education certifications are preferred.
Ability to foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and growth.
Experience with nursery or preschool environments is desirable.
Valid driving licence is advantageous for organising outings or transporting children when necessary.
