Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and well-maintained for both staff, visitors and children.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties i Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a clean environment. Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Clean restrooms, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of work. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order. Complete consumables stock check, to aid with ordering supplies. Safeguard the nursery and children

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is advantageous. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 14.00 per hour
