Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards; one hot meal and pudding per day, with relevant adjustments for age and allergens.
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Adhere to all food hygiene, environmental health and health and safety regulations

Skills:
- Previous experience providing meals in an educational or residential setting is preferred, but not essential.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Excellent teamwork abilities; able to form and maintain excellent working relationships within the full team.

-Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

As well as an hourly rate of pay of 12.60 per hour (the Real Living Wage)/16,426 p.a. (25 hpw), successful applicants will also receive an additional 150 payment upon successful completion of probationary period.
