Greenfields Nursery is looking for a dedicated and experienced
Nursery Cook & School Escort
to join our friendly team. This is a key role supporting our children's health, wellbeing, and daily routine through nutritious meals and safe school journeys.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook healthy, age-appropriate meals following dietary, allergy, and cultural requirements. Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times (in line with Safer Food, Better Business*).
Manage kitchen operations including ordering, cleanliness, and documentation (HACCP compliance). Ensure the dining area is clean and welcoming for children. Escort children safely to and from school in line with safeguarding procedures. Work closely with the nursery team and parents to support children's care and development.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a catering role (nursery, school, or similar setting preferred). Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards. Organised, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Warm, professional approach with a genuine passion for supporting children. Must have access to own vehicle

Expected hours: 25 per week

Day shift Monday to Friday
