Tudor House Day Nursery @ Feniscowles is currently recruiting for a part time cook to prepare fresh children's dinners on a daily basis, as well as completing other kitchen duties (cleaning, stock taking, record keeping).

The hours of work will be 9.30/10.00 am - 12.30 1.00 pm Monday-Friday. The position is for Term Time only (38 weeks of the year). There is also an opportunity to increase to 20 hours per week, with additional cleaning responsibilities.

Duties required, includes following our operating procedures and menu's, ordering in advance all supplies of food and maintain stock control procedures, record keeping, preparing hot meals and cold snacks, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism within the setting and kitchen environment.

A good knowledge of food hygiene, safe working practices would be beneficial.

HACCP and COSHH knowledge would be an advantage. Experience of working in a similar environment is desirable.

Desirable Requirements;

Cooking for Children: 1 year experience A minimum of Level 2 in Food Hygiene/Safety Cleaning (Optional): up to 2- 5 hrs per week
The position is to start from 8th September 2025.
