Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals inline with the "setting the table" guidance, while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, including special dietary requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including equipment and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager. Collaborate with Nursery staff to ensure timely meal service during busy period.
Experience
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role. Ability to work efficiently following the menu's and requirements. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation is highly desirable.
