We are looking to recruit a part-time (25 hours per week) Nursery Cook, to work in our busy nursery kitchens from 8:30am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday. This is a permanent role.

However, this is a new & unique role.

We are seeking to employ someone who would be flexible enough to be available to work across all four of our nurseries on a "roving" basis. Supporting the existing team of cooks where necessary, as well as providing cover for sickness & holidays.

Those four nurseries being at Birstall, Heckmondwike & Headingley. Some elements of this role would be working as the sole cook in charge of the kitchen and at other times you would be working alongside a colleague.

The Nursery Cook role involves all food preparation & cooking, baking, housekeeping/cleaning, maintaining all food safety and environmental health records and various other general kitchen duties.

Candidates

must

have a recognised and current Food Safety qualification as well as being able to drive and prepared to work at more than one location.

We are looking for individuals with experience of a similar role, e.g. in a busy commercial kitchen environment.
