Job Description

Nursery Cook - 7am to 3pm - Monday to Friday

48 weeks working

4 weeks holiday - 2 weeks to be taken over the Christmas period, as the nursery is closed, other 2 weeks to be taken over the term time period only

School & Nursery Lunch = 456 per day
After School Club = 96 per day (term time only)
Nursery Tea = 147 per day

Experience essential and ability to work alone with preparing and cooking the food offer during the holidays

Other Duties:

- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards- Oversee and assist kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking- Ensure proper portion control and presentation of dishes- Monitor food quality and taste for consistency- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines- Collaborate with the chef to develop new menu items- Train new kitchen staff members Qualifications: - Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures - Ability to work well in a team environmentIf you have a passion for cooking, possess strong leadership skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.
