We offer a warm, stimulating, and supportive environment for up to 50 children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our dedicated team of 11 passionate practitioners are committed to delivering the very best in early years care and education.
Job Overview
As our nursery continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and caring
Nursery Manager
to lead our welcoming team in Folkestone. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated childcare professional to take on a rewarding leadership role, supporting both staff and children to reach their full potential in a nurturing and engaging setting.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the smooth and effective daily running of the nursery
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of early years practitioners, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in the setting
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and other required documentation
Build and sustain strong partnerships with parents and carers through open and supportive communication
Ensure compliance with the EYFS, Ofsted standards, and all relevant statutory requirements
Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and staff rotas effectively
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment for all children
About You
Level 3 or above in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent) -
essential
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Deputy or Management role within an early years setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
Passionate about providing outstanding childcare and education
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Current First Aid, Safeguarding training, and enhanced DBS - or willingness to obtain
