We are currently recruiting an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager who will be responsible for the day to day running of the nursery alongside the setting Manager. We are looking for someone with drive, passion and ambition to help us reach our ambition of achieving outstanding childcare.
Job outline :
Provide and maintain a high standard of education and learning leading the nursery to an outstanding level.
Ensuring observations and record keeping are kept up to date so children's progress and achievements can be effectively and consistently assessed; to monitor child's assessment and progress.
Able to brilliantly lead, manage and supervise staff at all times.
Monitor the quality of teaching and learning.
Identify any gaps in staff training.
Building parents/carers partnership, encourage parental involvement as partners in their child's learning.
Informing them on the nursery curriculum and exchanging information and progress on their child's leaning.
Ensure high level and standards of health and safety are maintained at all times for all children, staff and visitors.
Effectively liaise? with Ofsted, and other professionals as required to ensure that all legal and statutory requirements are being met.
Any change to legislation concerning early years or any other matter affecting the nursery must be reflected in the update of policies and procedure as and when required.
Keep up to date with good practices and attend regular training, meetings and events.
To ensure that accurate and up-to-date record keeping systems are in place.
Working with other external agencies and professionals.?

Requirments
Must have a minimum BA in childcare or equivalent. At least 2 Years' experience in a nursery deputy management role. Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures, The EYFS, and Ofsted requirements Must demonstrate excellent skills in the following areas: Communication, Organisational and people management skills. Commitment to continual professional development.
