We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Deputy Manager
to join our nursery team in CV22. You will support the Nursery Manager in leading the team, ensuring high standards of care, and delivering outstanding early years education in a safe and nurturing environment.Key Responsibilities
Assist the Nursery Manager with day-to-day operations Support and mentor nursery practitioners to maintain high-quality care Oversee planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS Monitor, assess, and record children's progress and development Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Requirements
Level 3 childcare qualification (essential) Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within early years settings Strong knowledge of EYFS, child development, and safeguarding procedures Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Professional, caring, and approachable manner
