Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery deputy manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery deputy manager, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development and learning through play and structured activities.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community within the nursery. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to develop effective strategies for managing behaviour and supporting children's needs. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

What You'll Bring:
Level 3+ Childcare Qualification. This is essential for understanding the fundamental principles of early years education.

Leadership Experience-Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting is essential. You'll inspire and guide our dedicated team to deliver exceptional care and education.

5+Year in Early Years- A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in an early years environment is essential to ensure you bring practical knowledge and insights to the role.

Strong Knowledge of EYFS and Safeguarding- A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding practices is essential for maintaining a safe and nurturing space for our children.

Level 5 Qualification in Childcare or Leadership- While this is desirable, it will greatly enhance your ability to lead and develop our team and curriculum.

Experience Achieving Good or Outstanding in Ofsted-Experience in achieving high ratings in Ofsted inspections is desirable, showcasing your commitment to excellence in early years education.
