Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Deputy Manager to lead our team at Bear Care - Carlton and Gedling Day Nursery. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children aged 3 months to 11 years. Your leadership will be key in fostering a creative and supportive environment for both staff and children.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and education. Develop and implement engaging educational programs that promote children's development. Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers to support children's transitions into nursery. Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, welcoming, and conducive to learning.

Requirements

Proven experience in early childhood education. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is required. Experience working with children of various ages is essential.
