We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education. The Deputy Manager will assist in managing staff, engaging with parents, and overseeing the educational programmes for children.

Responsibilities

Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery and its staff. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of care and education. Support the development and implementation of educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a welcoming environment. Lead by example, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills. Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining a safe environment. Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of childcare services provided. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and provide feedback to parents.

Experience

Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a team effectively. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance educational outcomes for children.

Pay: 24,000.00-27,500.00 per year
