We have been proudly supporting families for the past two years and are looking for a passionate Deputy Manager to help us continue to grow and thrive. This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager or someone with strong managerial experience who is ready to develop their career further.

Key Responsibilities

Work alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth, day-to-day running of the nursery in line with policies, procedures, and regulations. Take on the full managerial role in the Manager's absence. Lead, support, and inspire staff teams, fostering a positive and professional working environment. Promote the nursery's values and ethos, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of every child. Work in partnership with parents, carers, and external agencies to continuously improve outcomes. Act as a role model to staff, encouraging best practice and strong teamwork.
(Please note: The Deputy Manager role is a mix of room-based and office-based work.)

Essential Requirements

A relevant childcare qualification (minimum Level 3). Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within childcare. Confidence in supporting, mentoring, and addressing staff as needed. Strong knowledge of the EYFS with effective implementation strategies. Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection. SENCO training or experience desirable. Satisfactory references and a clear DBS check (to be completed upon appointment).
