We are looking to nominate a Deputy Nursery Manager who will be an integral part of the strategic senior management team working directly with the Manager to drive forward the vision for the nursery.

What will you need to bring with you?

min NVQ/ CACHE level 3 qualification in childcare or hold an equivalent qualification comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted requirements excellent communication skills and be a firm believer in effective parents partnership experience of leading and coordinating a nursery team/ supervisory role experience is desirable in a similar position or third in charge/ senior role experience of supporting children with SEND and supporting staff to develop targeted support in an inclusive environment, including working with external agencies organisational skills and being able to prioritise your workload
Here is a glimpse of what your role will include:

Working alongside the Manager to ensure the day to day operation of the nursery is kept to the highest standard. Assisting the Manager in ensuring that all legislation, including Ofsted requirements, special needs, child protection, Safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to. To monitor, support and manage staff, continually improve practice To confidently manage the nursery in the absence of the Manager.
To lead the staff team to deliver and ensure all children attending receive high-quality care, are kept safe and are provided with planned and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs and support all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
