We are currently recruiting an experienced Deputy Manager for our new nursery in Parsons Green (SW6)
The successful candidate will support the Nursery Manager in the effective day-to-day running of our setting. This is an exciting opportunity to take a key leadership role within a friendly, supportive, and ambitious nursery team.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an inspirational and strong leader to lead our beautiful 100+ nursery setting. We're seeking a passionate and confident leader with the ability to inspire others and deliver exceptional outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities
To assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of Parsons House Nursery.
To work in partnership with the Nursery Manager to provide effective team leadership, ensuring that all children receive the highest standards of care and education.
To oversee the day-to-day leadership and management of the Nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
To support and advocate the mission and objectives of Parsons House Nursery.
To fulfil the role of Room Leader, if required.
To assist the Nursery Manager with administrative duties associated with the management of the nursery, such as maintaining records on children and families, ordering equipment, maintaining inventories, and keeping personnel records.
To instigate and facilitate positive, professional partnerships with parents.
To work with the Nursery Manager to recruit, induct, support, train and appraise all staff.
To assist the Nursery Manager in supporting the welfare of all staff, and cultivate a culture of positive well-being.
To assist the Nursery Manager in managing, monitoring, and maintaining budgets.
About You
Minimum Level 3 in Childcare
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role
Up to date knowledge of EYFS framework and regulations
A confident knowledge of safeguarding and relevant procedures
Passionate about Early years education and childcare
An ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team.
Previous Experience as a Deputy Manager or Third in Charge
