About the Role
As the Nursery Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery. You'll work closely with the Nursery Manager to maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the setting.
Lead and motivate a team of early years practitioners.
Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted requirements and follows EYFS curriculum.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance.
Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
Oversee planning, observations, and assessments.
Manage staff rotas, training, and performance when required.
Help drive continuous improvement and high-quality teaching practices.

Requirements
Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5+ desirable).
Experience in a senior practitioner or room leader role.
Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Passionate about child development and quality early education.
