The Role,
As a Room Leader, you will:
Lead and support a team in delivering high-quality early years education.
Implement the EYFS curriculum, ensuring that learning experiences are engaging and developmentally appropriate.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported.
Oversee daily routines, planning, and assessments to ensure a consistent and enriching experience for all children.
Support and mentor your team, promoting professional development and best practices in early years education.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
What We're Looking for,
We are seeking a confident and proactive early years professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for child development.
Essential Requirements:
Level 3 or higher qualification in Childcare and Education.
A minimum of one year's post-qualification experience working with children from birth to five years.
Experience in leading and supporting a team of educators.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A current and valid DBS check.
Up-to-date First Aid at Work certification.
Desirable:
A higher-level qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education/Childhood Studies.
Experience working in child-led, creative, or eco-conscious learning environments.
Knowledge of innovative teaching approaches that encourage resilience and independent thinking.
