Deputy Manager - Nursery - Maternity Cover

Full time- North Walsham, Norfolk

13.55/ hour - 26,070.20 per annum

Job Summary

The deputy is a qualified childcare professional who will provide management support for the staff team at nursery. They perform an important role caring for children, supporting the manager, maintaining a high quality, stimulating learning environment, supervising staff and imparting their knowledge and skills to others. They are creative and reflective leaders able to implement new ideas and use a range of strategies to continually improve practice and support the team.

Main Duties

To provide management support for the staff team at the nursery To work with the Nursery Manager and deputise as required, managing the day-to-day running of the nursery to deliver the highest standards of care, education, safety and wellbeing to children. To assist the Nursery Manager in creating a nursery that will be at the forefront of parents' minds as the place that will nurture their children in a unique, creative, family environment. To ensure high quality delivery of services at the nursery that can be measured against national and local priorities (including those of Ofsted) To ensure all setting related planning, evaluation, and administration is completed to a high standard.
Must Haves

Level 3 Qualification or above in Early Years Development 3 years + experience as deputy or senior room lead GCSEs in Maths/English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
