About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to work alongside a hands-on Director in delivering high-quality childcare for local families.

We're looking for a dynamic and inspiring leader who can juggle team management, nursery operations, and the occasional impromptu tea party with toddlers--all while keeping the nursery running smoothly.
We operate
51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
, closing only on bank holidays and during the Christmas to New Year break.
What We're Looking For
Level 3 (or higher) qualification
in Early Years Education.
Proven leadership experience
in an early years setting.
A strong understanding of the
EYFS framework and safeguarding regulations
.
The ability to
motivate and inspire a team
.
Creativity, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude--because no two days are the same!
Excellent communication skills (for both tiny humans and grown-ups).
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and inspiring a team of dedicated practitioners.
Ensuring a top-quality learning environment where every child feels valued.
Supporting the Nursery Manager with daily operations, admin, and team management.
Building strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider nursery community.
Getting hands-on in the nursery when needed, whether that's storytelling, leading activities, or dodging flying spaghetti at lunchtime.
