About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced
Deputy Manager
to support the running of our nursery. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality childcare and leading a motivated team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations.
Assist with staff supervision, mentoring, and training.
Ensure compliance with
EYFS framework
and all regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging educational programs for children.
Oversee health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider community.
Assist with administrative tasks, record keeping, and reporting.
Requirements
Level 3 Childcare qualification
or above.
Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in an early years setting.
Strong understanding of
child development
and
EYFS framework
.
Excellent communication, organizational, and team management skills.
Ability to work flexible hours between 08:00 - 18:00.
