Location: HP9 2QP
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to 33,000 per year (DOE)

About the Role



We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated

Deputy Nursery Manager

to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to step into a leadership role. You will initially start by leading the preschool room, while also gaining experience in office-based duties to prepare you for your full management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities



Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery. Lead the preschool room, ensuring high standards of care and education. Mentor, guide, and support nursery staff to deliver quality practice. Assist with administrative and office duties, learning the management side of the role. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS requirements are consistently met. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Requirements



Level 3 childcare qualification

(essential). Minimum

2 years' experience in childcare/nursery settings

(preferred). Experience leading a room or team within a nursery (preferred). Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills. Passionate about providing outstanding early years education.

Pay: From 33,000.00 per year
