We're looking for an

inspiring Nursery Deputy Manager

to support the day-to-day leadership of our warm, welcoming nursery and help deliver outstanding early years education.

About the Role

As our Nursery Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Nursery Manager to lead, motivate, and support a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safety for every child. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same--and where your ideas, energy, and expertise will genuinely be valued.

What You'll Be Doing

Support the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the nursery Lead by example, inspiring staff to deliver exceptional EYFS practice Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (or support the DSL) Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and supervision Ensure compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements Step up to lead the nursery in the Manager's absence Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
What We're Looking For

Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification (Level 5 desirable) Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within an early years setting Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures Confident leadership style with excellent communication skills A genuine passion for early childhood development Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure A positive role model who leads with empathy and professionalism

Pay: 26,500.00-28,000.00 per year
