Nursery Deputy Manager

40 hours Per week, 4 days 7:30am-6:30pm

As a Deputy Manager

you will support the Nursery Manager in the effective daily management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safety for children aged 0-5 years. To lead and motivate staff, implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies.

Ability to produce well-written reports and maintain clear accurate records Effective team player Strong leadership skills Good time management, organisational skills and good IT skills, A positive, pro-active and solution-based approach to leadership. Empathy & understanding Ability to work on own initiative

Qualification and experience:

Minimum level 3 qualification in Early Years or higher Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety, Allergens, H&S, Prevent, Safeguarding DSL Good knowledge of EYFS requirements Good knowledge of OFSTED requirements Good Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work Extensive Knowledge of Safeguarding

Primary duties:

Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments to ensure the Health and Safety of the setting; children in occupation; staff and visitors Develop and maintain good parent relations Liaise with the Customer Engagement Manager in developing and hosting parent engagement initiatives. Maintain Policies & Procedures in Nursery. Undertake other reasonable duties related to the job purpose required from time to time across the Company
Job Type: We are open 52 weeks of the year. This position is for all year round, 4 days, 7:30am-6:30pm. You will be a room based Deputy.
