We are currently looking for a Deputy Manager to work closely with the Manager of the nursery. Previous supervisory or deputy management experience is required for this post.
You need to have the skills to give support to the Manager as well as the rest of the team, must be dedicated and passionate about working with children and their families to deliver an enhanced care and learning experience in a safe environment, with a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Safeguarding & Welfare.
The desirable candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in partnership with parents and be able to manage, motivate and inspire The Wendy House team.
Responsibilities will include:-
Supporting the manager with the overall running of the nursery, and be responsible for some administrative duties.
Overseeing the delivery of the EYFS through inclusive practice, ensuring a high level of learning and development is achieved by all children attending the nursery.
Keeping up to date with current Ofsted legislation and ensuring implementation and adherence to this legislation.
Keeping all policies and procedures current and ensuring these are continually put into practice.
As an active team member you will also be expected to meet individual children's needs through observation, planning and assessment.
Communicating and working with outside agencies to support individual children, parents and the nursery team.

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour
