At our Wendover Nursery we are now seeking an experienced senior practitioner who can support the Room leader as Deputy Room Leader. Working a 38 hr week, salary is up to 32k depending on experience and qualifications, with great benefits. We have onsite parking together with a local "bookable" bus service which stops outside the nursery.

As Deputy Head of Room you will:

Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room Lead and support the team alongside the Room Leader Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met Qualified level 3 or above, with at least 3 years experience of working in a day nursery and ideally some experience of being senior within the room
