We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our team, committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will be welcoming, kind and caring, along with experience working with children in early childhood settings. This role involves planning engaging activities, supporting children's developmental needs, and maintaining effective communication with parents and colleagues. Responsibilities
Plan, organise, and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
Manage daily routines within the nursery or childcare setting, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones
Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development progress, and any incidents
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and social skills
Support children with special needs or additional requirements as necessary
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices
Experience
Extensive experience working directly with children, particularly in nursery or preschool environments
Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience of working within a small team, sharing responsibilities and tasks.
