Job Description

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly childcare team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Our working hours are between the times of 7:30am until 6:15pm.

Kiddiwinks Day Nursery, is committed to provide high quality care and education for young children. Our practice is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage as well as our unique curriculum tailored to encourage the children to learn to the best of their abilities and beyond.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning Follow and adhere safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and daily activities Assist in organising outings and activities outside the nursery setting Support children with special educational needs alongside our qualified SENCO Contribute to the overall running of the setting and our ethos

Requirements

Childcare qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or equivalent are required Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting Knowledge of child development principles, used effectively by a child centered approach The ability to work well as a part of a team within a busy early years environment Excellent communication skills with children, parents/carers and members of them team A caring attitude, patience, organisation skills, and a genuine passion for working with young children are essential An enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one)

Pay: 15,873.00-25,396.80 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
