Nursery Educator
Job Description
To have, or to be working towards, a Level 2 or 3 relevant Early Years qualification
To have previous or relevant experience in working with the under 2s in a key person position
To have a thorough knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage, EYFS
To have excellent organisational skills regarding paperwork, planning and assessment
To hold a strong commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
To have sound key working skills in order to be the key person for a group of children.
Good team player
To have good communication skills especially, when liaising with parents
The ability to work well under pressure, independently and to use initiative at all times
Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues within the nursery, within TNB Early Years and Play and with external agencies
Is committed to continual personal and professional development
Enthusiastic, cheerful, happy disposition
GCSE or equivalent Maths and English
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
